This Privacy Policy explains how VS Hotel Corporation (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the VS Hotel mobile app (the “App”).
Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number, and birthdate when you create an account.
- Profile photo: if you choose to upload or take a profile picture using your device's camera or photo library.
- Booking activity: room booking requests and check-in/check-out records, used to award loyalty points.
- Loyalty program data: points balance, tier status, redeemed rewards, and reviews you submit.
- Device and usage data: basic technical information needed for the app to function (e.g. network status).
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and loyalty membership.
- To confirm bookings and award points for stays and other qualifying activities.
- To let you redeem points for rewards (e.g. free nights, discounts).
- To communicate with you about your account, bookings, or promotions (if you opt in to email updates).
- To improve and maintain the App.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with:
- Swiftbook and STAAH — our room booking and inventory management systems — to process and confirm your reservations.
- VS Hotel Corporation staff, to verify bookings at check-in and manage loyalty rewards.
We do not share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as you maintain an active account. Booking and points transaction records may be retained in de-identified form for accounting and business record purposes even after account deletion, as described below.
Deleting Your Account
You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App: go to Profile → Account → Delete Account. When you do:
- Your login credentials, profile information (name, email, phone, birthdate, photo), and any reviews you've written are permanently deleted.
- Records of past bookings and point redemptions are kept for our accounting records, but are stripped of any information identifying you personally.
- This action cannot be undone.
If you're unable to access the App, you may also request deletion by contacting us using the details below.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
